Women's Soccer drops match to Montana State Billings 2-0 in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ -- The Dixie State College women's soccer team dropped their opening match of the Grand Canyon Invite 2-0 to Montana State Billings on Thursday night in Phoenix.

The Red Storm (0-2-1) lost for the second consecutive match and will look to rebound on Saturday night when they battle Colorado State Pueblo on the pitch in Phoenix.

MSUB (3-0-0) out shot the DSC 23-11 and found the net in the 50th minute and 61st minute. Both scores came by Katlyn Lokay. The first off a rebound from 6 yards out and the second a rebound off the cross bar.

Abby Johnson (Escondido, CA/Mission Hills) had 10 saves in goal and dropped to 0-2-1 on the season.
