SAINT GEORGE, UT
-Tyson Littlewood (St. George. UT/Pine View HS) hit a two-run home run in the top of the first inning and then went on to go 3-3 and collect 4RBI to lead Dixie State College to a 10-6 win over Hawaii Pacific University at Bruce Hurst Field on Sunday night.

In the nightcap, 12 team walks and three errors were the demise of the Red Storm (10-7, 7-3 PWC) as they lost 17-7 to the Sea Warriors (6-10, 4-2 PWC).

In game one, James Mahler (Sandy, UT/West Jordan) pitched six innings and struck four to pick improve to 3-2 on the season.

After a Trevor Goff (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial) and Colton Yack (South Jordan, UT/Bingham) singled and Littlewood walked to load the bases in the 5th inning, Joe Andrade (Yuma, AZ/San Luis ) would pick a 2RBI single to left field to give the Red Storm an 8-5 lead.

Tony Nelson (St. George. UT/Dixie) and Sam Friend (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial) each had two hits to pace the Red Storm.

For HPU, Lester Akeo, Troy Ajer and Wade Tamaru each had two hits in the loss.

In the second game it was all the Sea Warriors. Sam Friend (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial) dropped to 1-2 and allowed six runs and walked seven in 2 2/3 innings of work.

HPU belted out 15 hits and scored 17 runs and seemed to capitalize on all the Red Storm miscues.

Toby Inouye allowed five runs on eight hits while striking out seven to improve to 4-3 for the Sea Warriors.

Kale Sumner was 4-4, scored three runs and had 5RBI to pace Hawaii Pacific. Troy Ajer had three hits and Tamuru, Ryan Morihara and Rice-Kashima had two hits a piece.

For Dixie State, Littlewood picked up two more hits and three more RBI in the loss. Justin Jensen (Taylorsville, UT/Taylorsville) also had two hits and scored run.
