Dixie State (24-10, 15-7 PWC) extended their winning streak to 13 games winning the series opener 13-4 before seeing the streak ended by a walkoff double by the Sea Warriors (23-8, 15-3 PWC) in nightcap for a 6-5 triumph.

Prodan allowed four runs on nine hits and striking out four going the distance for win number six.

In the nightcap, DSC took an early 2-0 lead on another Adams homer to left, his 13th.

HPU tied the game in the third inning with two runs and leaped ahead in the fourth with two more. Dixie State would be down 5-2 entering the seventh inning.

With the bases loaded, two outs and down two strikes, Rhett Welsh (Arvada, CO/Standley Lake) doubled to left field driving home all three base runners to knot the game at 5-5.

The Sea Warriors bounced back quickly and took the game with an RBI double from Kenny Turner. Lane Kirby (Las Vegas, NV/Palo Verde)  took the loss (2-1) for Dixie State after relieving for Troy Hunter (Las Vegas, NV/Centennial) and Payton Rentmeister (Riverton, UT/Riverton).

Welsh had the only multi-hit game for DSC in the nightcap.
