SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – Travels in California continue to be perilous for the Dixie State men's soccer team. Playing their second match in three days, the Red Storm dropped a 3-0 decision to the Academy of Arts Urban Knights on Monday.

Academy of Arts (4-6-1, 1-4-0 PACWEST) scored early in each of the first and second halves before cementing their triumph with a late goal. Dixie State (2-4-1, 0-2-0) is winless in their last three opportunities.

Robby Astin (Hayden, ID/Coeur d'Alene) had five shots to lead the Red Storm while six different teammates each had a shot on goal saved by AAU goalkeepers Daniel Waller and Ian Sutherland.

Dixie State looks to rebound on October 8 at home in Hansen Stadium hosting Chaminade University. The Pacific West Conference match is set to kickoff at 5pm.
