Lider. who also had field goals of 28 and 34 yards. hit the game-winner after quarterback Adam Perry had driven the Vikings 69 yards in seven plays after WWU got the ball on downs at its own 32 with 1:47 left and no time outs remaining. . . .Moments earlier Lider's 34-yarder had pulled WWU to within one point after Dixie State had scored two second-half touchdowns - Dexter Hill (Pocatello. ID/Highland HS) passes of 24 and nine yards to Kyser Christensen (Boise. ID/Centennial) and Judd Thompson (Crystal Lake. IL/Prarie Ridge HS). respectively - to overcome a 23-14 halftime deficit. . .Perry threw three first-half touchdowns to Pat McCann of 11. 40 and a GNAC-record 96 yards. to stake the Vikings to their early lead. The 96-yard Perry to McCann hookup broke the old record of 87 by Western Oregon's Ivan McCrae to Mike Hinshaw versus Carson-Newman in 2002. . .Perry finished the contest with a GNAC-season high 423 passing yards. completing 24 of 38. McCann caught eight for 232 yards. four yards short of the GNAC single-game record. . .WWU finished with 541 yards of total offense – its second straight 500-yard performance - as running back Kevin Sampson accounted for 85 of WWU's 118 yards on the ground. . .Dixie netted 375 yards. 137 rushing including 75 by running back Adam Wells (Kenmore.
