PHOENIX, AZ - Dixie State junior center Becca Thomas (Riverside, CA/Santa Clara) has been selected the latest Pacific West Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Feb. 6, for games contested Jan. 30-Feb. 5.
Thomas led the Red Storm to a 3-0 week in Hawai‘i by averaging 19.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
She tied for second in scoring and ranked 11th in rebounding in the conference for the week.
Thomas’ shooting percentage also sparkled, ranking third in the PacWest for the week after making 59.5% (22 for 37) of her field goal attempts.
She tied for 11th in free throw shooting as well, making 75.0% (15 for 20) of her shots from the line.
