For three strong performances in the circle, Dixie State softball pitcher Aryn Feickert has been named the Northwestern Mutual Female Athlete of the Week.
 
Feickert went 2-0 with a 0.86 ERA during the Storm’s weekend series sweep of Hawaii Hilo. In 16.1 inning, she allowed two runs on 16 hits while striking out 19 batters. She earned wins in the series opening 8-0 win in six innings and in the third game with a complete game, seven-hit shutout.
 
For Feickert, this is her first Athlete of the Week honor.
