PHOENIX, AZ - Dixie State senior blocker Morgan Hill (Logan, UT/Logan) has been named the Pacific West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.
The honor was announced by the PacWest Media Office in Phoenix, AZ, on Monday, Sept. 12, for matches contested Sept. 5-11.
Hill guided the Red Storm to a 3-1 mark at the Holiday Inn Crossroads Classic in Grand Junction, CO, on Sept. 9 and 10 as Dixie State defeated Ft. Lewis (CO) 3-0, Colorado Mesa 3-0 and Western State 3-0.
for the week Hill led the PacWest in hitting with a .398 percentage. She committed just 10 errors in 98 attempts while recording 49 kills - also tops for the week in the conference.
She ranked seventh in kills per set (3.77), second in blocks per set (1.15) and fifth in points per set (4.71). She totaled 59.5 points on her 49 kills, six block solos and nine block assists.
