Taylia Stimpson is in her second season as Utah Tech assistant women's basketball coach and director of player development.
Stimpson played in 45 career games over her two seasons at Utah Tech from 2021-23. She averaged 6.1 points and 2.1 rebounds in 18 games during her senior season in 2022-23, and was part of the Blazers’ first NCAA Division I postseason victory, a 72-68 triumph over Utah Valley in the opening round of the 2023 WAC Tournament (3/6/23).Â
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Sports Management at Utah Tech in 2023, Stimpson transferred to Utah State, where she appeared in five games for the Aggies, all while working on her Master’s degree in instructional technology and learning sciences.Â
