Dr. Nicholas J. Larsen graduated from Dixie High School, then-Dixie State College, and received his Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Dr. Larsen earned his medical degree from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine in Louisville, Ky. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tenn. Following residency, Dr. Larsen decided to specialize in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine injuries. He spent an additional year of training and completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles, where he trained with the nation’s leaders in shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle arthroscopy. Throughout his residency and fellowship training, he gained experience treating athletes at all levels of competition, ranging from high school to professional athletes. His goal is to help all patients return to their favorite activities by providing careful and thorough evaluations, giving an accurate diagnosis, and following with appropriate treatment.
