Marcie Sharp is in her first season as the head coach of the Utah Tech Cheer and Stunt Team. Prior to her arrival at Utah Tech, she coached all-star and high school cheer teams for seven years.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Coach Sharp graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in child development. While attending SUU, she was a member of the cheer and stunt team for four years.
Coach Sharp and her husband, Mike, are the parent of two children. She loves being a wife and mom, enjoys being outside, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Coach Sharp has found a love for the red rocks of southern Utah and feels so lucky to be coaching at Utah Tech. She loves being a coach, and has found it to be so rewarding working with such amazing and talented young athletes. She is dedicated to supporting her team, community, and the University.
