Erasto "Tito" Cortes is in his first season as the director of operations with Utah Tech women's basketball program.
Cortes traveled west to St. George from Washington, D.C., where he served as a graduate team manager and practice player with the Georgetown University women's basketball program during the 2024-25 season.
A native of El Paso, Texas, Cortes earned his Bachelor's degree in Accounting at Texas Tech in 2024. During his time at TTU, he was a practice player of the Lady Raiders women's basketball team, and was a basketball referee for the TTU campus recreation department.
Cortes, who will complete work on his Master's degree in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown this fall, also served as a varsity basketball manager and assistant coach at Kingdom Prep Academy in Lubbock, Texas, and as an assistant trainer at Hub City Hoops/Josh Washington Elite in Lubbock.
