Dawn Eide-Albrecht serves as Utah Tech University’s NCAA Financial Aid and Scholarship Coordinator, ensuring compliance with NCAA and institutional regulations while supporting student-athletes in maintaining eligibility and scholarship status.
She also teaches courses in the Recreation and Sports Management program, where she mentors students and develops engaging, real-world learning experiences. Before joining Utah Tech, Eide-Albrecht spent 28 years in community recreation management, where she oversaw youth programs, tournaments and facilities, and secured grant funding for local initiatives. Her programs earned eight Utah Recreation & Parks Association Program of the Year Awards, reflecting her dedication to quality and innovation.
Eide-Albrecht holds a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration from Utah State University and a Master’s degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from the University of Utah.
She was a finalist for the 2024 UTU Trailblazer Part-Time Instructor of the Year and the College of Health Sciences Part-Time Teacher of the Year, and received the Mini Trailblazer Award in 2025.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Southern Utah’s outdoors and staying active in her community.
