At Dixie State 2019 (Sophomore): Started in 15 of 24 matches played ... registered five or more kills in seven times, highlighted by a career-high nine kills vs. UCCS (10/11) ... collected a career-high tying five total blocks on three occasions (vs. UCCS, vs. Western Colorado, at Regis) ... tallied a career-best four aces at Fort Lewis (10/5) ... was named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.

At Dixie State 2018 (Freshman): Appeared in five matches with one start and saw time in six sets overall … collected four kills and eight total blocks … started at UCCS (9/29) and tallied season-highs of two kills and five block assists in the four-set win … also registered three block assists in a home win vs. Adams State (9/22).

At Vanden High School: Earned three varsity letters in volleyball and helped lead the Vikings to a pair of SCAC League championships … voted the 2017 SCAC league MVP and most-valuable hitter, and was two-time all-league selection … owns the VHS single-match record for total blocks (20 – 11 assisted/9 solo), and led the SCAC in blocks as a sophomore … was a three-time academic all-scholar athlete award winner.

Personal: Born in San Antonio, Texas ... parents are Nancy and Cody Ekblad … both parents served for more than 20 years in the United States Air Force, which allowed Miranda to travel the world … also recruited by the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy, MSU-Denver, Concordia-Irvine and California Baptist ... played club volleyball for Club Solano Adrenaline and Rage, and XCELERATION Blue … favorite team is the Seattle Mariners … currently majoring in business administration.
