Entering 2015: Makenzi ranks fourth all-time in DSU’s NCAA history in career block assists (175) and total blocks (188), fifth all-time in hitting percentage (.243), ninth in solo blocks (13), and 10^th in sets played (229).

At Dixie State 2014: Started in 22 of 24 matches played … posted the eighth-best single-season hitting percentage in DSU’s four-year era (.279) in registering a career-high 142 kills in 337 attempts … also collected 54 total blocks (four solo), 13 digs and eight assists … 2013: Played in 26 matches as a sophomore with 20 starts … recorded 141 kills and a .281 hitting percentage, which ranks seventh on DSU’s single-season list … also recorded 35 digs and 73 total blocks (five solo) … registered a career-high nine total blocks vs. Fresno Pacific, which tied her for fifth all-time on DSU’s single match list … 2012: Played in 17 matches as a freshman … recorded 93 kills, 25 digs, 61 total blocks and five service aces.

At Snow Canyon High School: Was a three-year letter winner in volleyball … helped lead the Warriors three-consecutive state 4A/3A state championship match appearances, including Warriors’ fifth-straight state title as a sophomore in 2010.
