Why she chose Utah Tech: "I chose Utah Tech because I wanted to be closer to family, around more members of my faith, and around Polynesians. My hometown didn’t have much of any of that, so I picked Utah Tech in order to be around more people like me. I also chose Utah Tech because of my connection with the coaching staff, more specifically Coach Milla. I love how she really teaches her players, instead of just coaching them. The opportunity to grow under a strong female Polynesian role model like her was the cherry on top of everything else Utah Tech had to offer. My official visit felt like a family reunion, so I committed on the spot."
