At Utah Tech 2024 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 18 matches ... played in 38 sets ... tallied 38 digs (ninth on the team) averaging 1.00 digs per set ... added a pair of assists and two service aces ... ranked eighth on the team with 79 total service attempts ... notched a season-high 12 digs in a sweep over Robert Morris (Sept. 14) at the College of Charleston Invitational ... added eight digs in a four-set loss at Grand Canyon (Nov. 7) ... served up one service ace apiece against Gonzaga (Sept. 6) and Northern Arizona (Sept. 19) ... totaled double figure service attempts in four matches led by a season-leading 12 vs. Robert Morris (Sept. 14) ... picked up one assist vs. Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 5) & at College of Charleston (Sept. 13) ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.

At Utah Tech 2023 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 19 matches ... played in 37 sets ... tallied 37 digs, seven service aces and four assists ... recorded digs in nine matches with a season-high nine at Abilene Christian (Oct. 7) ... notched a season-best three service aces in the season finale at Utah Valley (Nov. 11) ... picked up an assist in four matches ... had a season-best two attacks vs. Fresno State (Sept. 8) ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.

At Utah Tech 2022 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in nine matches and tallied nine digs … collected four of those digs vs. Nevada (Sept. 9).  

Before Utah Tech: Earned three varsity letters in volleyball at Mountain View High School, where she helped lead the Buffaloes to a 2020 Wyoming 3A state title, and to a 33-4 record and a 2021 state runner-up finish … tallied 553 digs, 48 aces and 103 assists during her senior season in 2021 … finished with 1,553 digs and 152 aces during her three-year prep career.  

More on Kaycee: Born in Ogden, Utah ... parents are George and Colette Bugas ... twin sister Emalee played college volleyball at Laramie County Community College … also has an older sister, Ailee who played volleyball at Adams State .... also recruited by Colorado Mesa, Waldorf University, Mount Mercy, Walla Walla, Northwest College and Western Wyoming CC … favorite teams are the Phoenix Mercury, USWNT and Duke men’s basketball … favorite athlete is Kelsey Plum … favorite food is pizza … favorite musician is Noah Kahan … biggest influences as an athlete are her sisters … favorite sports moment was winning the Wyoming 3A state volleyball title ... currently majoring in exercise science with an emphasis in occupational therapy.
