Following a stellar two-year playing career, To’a Faleoa returns to the Trailblazer program to begin her first season as a volunteer assistant coach.
Faleao started in 49 of 51 career matches during her two seasons as a Trailblazer, during which she was a two-time all-RMAC selection, including first team honors in 2019. In that 2019 season, she finished the year ranked in the top-10 nationally at the NCAA Division II level in service aces per set and broke the program’s NCAA-era single season record for aces with 51.
She also wound up sixth in the conference in points (358.5) and seventh in kills that season with a team-high 276 on her way to second team D2CCA South Central Region honors.
Faleao is still ranked in UT’s top-10 in four career statistical categories, including fourth in aces (82), sixth in kills per set (2.74), eighth in solo blocks (18), and ninth in attacks (1,566).
A native of Lehi, Utah, she graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Sports Management in 2021.
