Entering 2015: Alex ranks second all-time in DSU’s NCAA history in career digs with 1,194, needing 605 digs to become the program’s career leader … also ranks seventh all-time in career aces (53) and eighth in sets played (274).
At Dixie State 2014: Played in all 31 games as a junior and earned Third Team all-PacWest honors … broke the DSU single-season record for digs with 541 … her 4.70 digs per game average places her sixth on the single season list … finished second on the team in service aces with 30 (t-ninth on season list), to go along with 38 assists … 2013: Earned Second Team all-PacWest honors … played in all 27 games as a sophomore … set the DSU single match record for digs with 40 vs. Dominican on Sept. 30 … also had 30 digs vs. Fresno Pacific (Sept. 28) … led the team with 475 digs, which is the fifth-highest season total in school history … posted a 4.61 digs per game average (#7 on single season list) … also recorded six kills and one block … 2012: Appeared in 17 matches as a freshman … recorded 178 digs.
At Prescott High School: Was a three-year varsity letter winner in volleyball for the Badgers … earned first team all-region and all-region Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2011 … was named as one of the Tri-City top-10 athletes of the year.
Personal: Born in Prescott, Ariz. … parents are Jeff and Susan Anderson … sister Brette is also on the team … currently majoring in biology.
