At Utah Tech 2025 Outdoor (Sophomore): Competed at three meets … finished third in the 1,500 meters with a season-best time of 4:51.38 at the La Verne-hosted Leopard Invitational … ran a season best in the 5,000 meters (19:45.52) at the Utah Tech Invitational … logged a season best in the mile (5:29.16) at the SUU Coliseum Championships.

At Utah Tech 2025 Indoor (Sophomore): Competed at three meets … ran season bests in the 800 meters (2:24.42) and 3,000 meters (11:35.27) at the Northern Arizona-hosted Ron Mann Classic … posted a season best in the mile (5:25.82) at the Idaho State-hosted Snake River Open … earned Academic All-WAC honors.

At Utah Tech 2024 Outdoor (Freshman): competed in six meets ... raced in the 800 meters (2:23.41) and 5000 meters (19:29.37) at the WAC Outdoor Championships ... won the open division in the mile at the BYU Robison Invitational clocking a time of 5:20.26 and competed in the open division of the 800 meters posting a time of 2:31.45 ... ran in the 800 meters at the SUU Coliseum Championships posting a season-best time of 2:22.80 ... finished ninth in the 1500 meters at the UNLV Elite meet notching a time of 5:02.15 ... ran in the 1500 meters at the Vince O'Boyle Track and Field Classic recording a time of 4:56.44 ... opened the outdoor season  with a top 10 finish in the 5000 meters at the Utah Tech Invitational with a time of 19:06.30 and competed in the 1500 meters (5:00.37) ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.

At Utah Tech 2024 Indoor (Freshman): competed in five meets ... ran in the both the mile (5:27.64) and 3000 meters (11:00.93) at the WAC Indoor Championships ... posted a time of 2:26.58 in the 800 meters at the NAU Lumberjack Team Challenge ... opened the indoor season at the BYU Cougar Invitational finishing fourth in the 1000 meters with a time of 3:21.17 and also ran in the mile in a time of 5:30.12 ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.

At Ponderosa High School: Won varsity letters in both cross country and track … helped lead the Bruins to league and divisional cross country crowns, and to a league team track title … qualified for the state cross country championships … graduated ranked fourth all-time in the 1,600-meters.

Personal: Was born in Sacramento, California … parents are Mark and Jessica Payne … plans to major in business management.
