Biography
At Southwestern Oregon CC (2015-17): Was a four-time NJCAA championship finalist in 2016 and 2017, and placed third place finish in the 50 fly to earn 2017 All-America honors …  broke nine SOCC school records and helped lead the Lakers to a fifth-place NJCAA national team finish in 2016, and a fourth-place showing in 2017.
At Viewmont High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner and captained a pair of Utah 5A state championship winning teams in 2014 and 2015 … was the region champion in 100 fly and 500 free, and helped break two school records in the 200 free and medley relays in two state title-winning races.
Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah … parents are Brien and Linda Smith … also recruited by Barton College, University of the Cumberlands, College of Idaho and Mills College … currently major in the ASL interpreter program.
