Biography

At USA Swimming: Was a 2020 USA Olympic Trials qualifier … took fifth at the 2017 Open Water Junior National Championships … placed seventh in the 400 IM at the 2018 Winter National Championships … earned a spot on the 2019 World 100 in the 200 fly … was a three-year finalist in the 400 IM at the Winter Junior Nationals … gold medalist in the 400 IM and won bronze in the 200 back at the 2018 Summer NCSA Championships … ranked in the World 100 in the 400 IM in 2018.
 
At Alabama 2020-22: Was part of the Crimson Tide program for two seasons … redshirted in 2020-21 … swam the 400 IM (4:14.75), 200 fly (1:56.88), 200 back (1:56.84), 200 IM (2:01.79) and 100 back (55.02) as a freshman in 2021-22.
 
At Palo Verde High School: Helped lead the Panthers to a state title and was the state champion in the 200 IM … also placed second overall in the 100 back and 200 medley and 400 free relays … earned HS All-America honors … was named PVHS Swimmer of the Year … graduated at the school record holder in the 100 back (55.25).  

Personal: Born in Tarzana, California … parents are Todd and Patti Hazan … also recruited by Alabama, Delaware and Duquesne … swam for the Sandpipers of Nevada club team … favorite team is the Las Vegas Raiders … currently majoring in criminal justice.
