At Boardman High School: Earned three varsity letters in swimming and finished her high school career as the school record holder in the 50 free and 200 free relay ... won a sectional championship as a freshman, was named NEAC Swimmer of the Meet during her junior campaign, and was named AAC Female Swimmer of the Year as a senior ... also lettered in cross country and track ... was a member of the National Honor Society ... competed at Springfield HS as a freshman.
Personal: Born in Fort Myers, Florida … parents are Mike and Carla Flatley … mother Carla swam collegiately at South Florida and Youngstown State ... also recruited by Youngstown State, Loyola-New Orleans and Milligan College ... swam for the Youngstown Penguins club team … favorite team is the Los Angeles Dodgers ... favorite athlete is Trevor Lawrence ... currently majoring in general studies.
Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because I fell in love with the campus and I enjoyed the cool atmosphere. It wasn’t just somewhere I wanted to swim, it is somewhere I wanted to be educated. Coach McAllister was also my favorite coach and the one I was most comfortable talking to.”
