Utah Tech Honors: Claimed the silver medal in the 100 backstroke final at the 2025 WAC Championships … won bronze medals in both the 100 and 200 back at the 2024 WAC Championships … earned Academic All-WAC honors in 2023-24 and 2024-25 … was selected as the Intermountain Health Overachieving Athlete for February 2025 … is currently a member of Utah Tech’s SAAC committee. 

At Bearden High School: Was a four-year varsity letter winner in swimming and served as a team captain for the Bulldogs ... was the 2023 Tennessee state champion in the 200 IM ... earned 2022 and 2023 MVP honors. 

More on Mary Sims: Born in Memphis, Tennessee … parents are John and Stephanie Cross ... swam for the Tennessee Aquatics club team ... favorite team is the Tennessee Volunteers ... is a fan of country music ... currently majoring in exercise science.
