Biography
At Dixie State 2017-18 (Sophomore): Broke school records in both the 1,000 free (10:42.69 at PCSC Championships) and the 1,650 (17:51.02 at CMU) … currently owns six of the top-10 1,000 free and seven of the best 1,650 free times in program history … also swam in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 500 free events, along with legs in the 400 and 800 free relays.
At Dixie State 2016-17 (Freshman): Swam the 10th-fastest 500 free times in program history with 5:21.67 posted at CMU … clocked an 18:05.96 1,650 free time at the PCSC Championships, the fourth-fastest mark in DSU history … also swam legs in the 400 and 800 free relays … recorded season-best marks of 28.08 in the 50 free, 1:01.70 in the 100 free, and 2:05.95 in the 200 free.
At Spanish Fork High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Dons and was part of their 4A State 400-m free relay winning team … was also an academic all-region selection and was named female MVP in 2014-15 … was a member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and graduated with high honors.
Personal: Born in Provo, Utah … parents are Clair and Brenda Christensen … husband’s name is Kolby … favorite athlete is Katie Ledecky … swam for the Utah Valley Aquatics club team … currently majoring in exercise science.
Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because I wanted to swim collegiately in Utah.”
