At Dixie State 2019-20 (Senior): Named to the 2019-20 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division II All-America team … qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division II Women's Swimming Championships in the 100-yard and 200-yard breast stroke … however, due to the cancellation of the national championship meet in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic … also secured an invitation to compete in the 200 IM and finished 42nd-nationally during the first day of competition back on March 11 … qualified for the 100 breast with a school record time of 1:03.24 (No. 27 in NCAA DII) set last November at the Colorado Mesa-A3 Invitational, and secured a spot in the 200 breast at the 2020 RMAC Championships with a gold medal winning and school record breaking time of 2:17.34 (No. 20 in NCAA DII) … closed out her stellar three-year career at Dixie State as the program's record holder in the 100 breast (1:03.24), 100 fly (56.43), 200 breast (2:17.34) and 200 IM (2:04.92), and is part of two relay school records (200 medley - 1:45.01; 400 medley - 3:51.30) … in all, she owns a combined 32 top-10 all-time marks in five different events.
Dixie State Honors: Became first swimmer in DSU program history to qualify for the NCAA Championships, doing so in 2018 in the 100/200 breast ... earned first and second team all-RMAC honors in 2019 ... collected RMAC Academic Honor Roll recognition in 2019.
At BYU 2014-15 (Freshman): Competed in the 100 and 200 breast for the Cougars before departing for an LDS Church mission.
At Lehi High School: Earned four varsity letters in swimming for the Pioneers … was the school record holder in six events (100 free, 200 IM, 100 breast, 500 free, 50 free and 100 fly), was the state runner-up in the 100 breast and placed third in the 100 fly as a senior.
Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah … parents are Mark and Joan Hansen … also recruited by BYU and Colorado Mesa … favorite team is the St. Louis Cardinals and favorite athlete is Yadier Molina … currently majoring in exercise science with a pre-occupational therapy emphasis.
