Madison Wawrzyniak is in her second season as a student assistant coach for the Dixie State women's swimming program. She is currently a senior communication major who transferred to DSU after attending Southern Utah University for two years.
Coach Wawrzyniak started swimming competitively when she was 11, and swam competitively at Desert Hills High School in St. George, where she served as team captain for two seasons. As a senior she finished third in the Utah 3A state ranks in the 100-m breast and fifth in the 200-m IM.
In addition to her role at DSU, Madison is a teacher and swim coach at the Summitt Athletic Club in St. George.
