Paul Kimbrough is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Trailblazer Women’s Soccer program.
Coach Kimbrough comes to Dixie State after serving as the executive director of the Arkansas Valley Soccer Association from 2015-19, which included work with the Arkansas Rush and Real Arkansas soccer clubs. In addition to his work with the AVSA, he worked on the Arkansas State Soccer Association’s state ODP staff.
Prior to his time in Arkansas, Kimbrough was the director of coaching at the Texarkana United Soccer Association and spent two seasons coaching goalkeepers at Texas A&M-Texarkana from 2014-15. He also served as head girl’s soccer coach at his alma mater, Shades Valley High School in Alabama, and was a staff coach for the Birmingham United Soccer Association.
Additionally, Kimbrough worked the MLS D.C. United’s youth development program and the Play Soccer USA-Appalachia program (2012-13), along with a stint coaching goalkeepers at Judson College (2011-12), and coached with both the Alabama Storm and Gardendale soccer clubs.
Kimbrough attended Mississippi State University before completing his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Coaching at the United States Sports Academy in 2012. He then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Recreation Studies at Ohio University in 2014.
