Rachel Harmon

Rachel Harmon has coached the program since it began competition in the fall of 2012.

Coach Harmon was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended Cottonwood High School and competed all four years on the Colts' boys golf team and was named captain her senior year. She also served as senior class vice president, as well as DECA President for the school. Her junior golf accomplishments include five Junior State Amateur titles, represented Utah at four Junior America's Cup, appeared at Junior World in Southern California five times, qualified for the US Girls Junior Amateur, three Junior PGA Championships,  and three IIAJC appearances.

After high school Harmon accpeted a scholarship from Brigham Young University, where she broke all but one women's golf team record. She was a three-time All-American selection, Mountain West Conference Player of the Year in 2007, named to the MWC All-Decade team, won three individual titles, made two NCAA National Championship appearances with her team and qualified for one more individually.

As an amateur she won two Utah State Women's Amateur titles, qualified for the Women's US Amateur, medalist of first stage US Open qualifying.

Harmon turned professional following graduation from BYU in 2007. She immediatly joined the LPGA Futures Tour mid season and recorded two top-20 finishes. She went on to be the low qualifying professional at Futures Q-school that fall and earned exempt status for the 2008 season where she competed full-time. Harmon also played professionally on the Cactus Tour and Canadian Tour in 2009-2010.

Coach Harmon and her husband, Curtis, are the parents of two children -  Lily and Boston
