At Utah Tech 2021 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in four races ... was part of the team that posted a program record 21:49 (6K) team top five average at the WAC Championships ... posted the third-fastest 6K (21:01.6) in team history at the WAC Championships ... was the individual winner at the SUU Color Country Invitational with a time of 14:58.3 (4K) ... earned second-team all conference honors
At Utah Tech 2019 (FRESHMAN): Competed in one race
At Boylan High School: Three-Time All-Conference, two-time All-Region, and two-time All-State honoree in cross country … earned a third-place finish at the state meet as a junior in 2016 … also competed in track … holds the school record in the 3200m … state champion in the 3200m and the 1600m … New Balance Nationals All-American in the 2-mile and 5K … earned All-State academic honors … graduated in May 2018.
Personal: Born in Rockford, Illinois … parents are Bill and Elisa McLaughlin … father Bill played and coached tennis at Loras College … also recruited by TCU, Northwestern, Boise State, Weber State, Southern Utah, and Grand Canyon … plans to major in criminal justice.
