2018: Did not compete in any races.
2017 (FRESHMAN): Competed in five races … recorded two top-40 finishes … logged a season-best 17th-place finish (18:30) at the NAU George Kyte Invitational.
At Cinco Ranch High School: Helped her team to a sixth place finish at the 2016 Texas UIL 6A State Cross Country Championship by placing 74th overall with a time of 19:21 (5K) … ran a 19:45 (5K) at the Nike Cross Regional Championships … graduated in June 2017.
Personal: Born in Katy, Texas … parents are Kai and Heather Nielson … also recruited by Texas State, Texas-San Antonio, and North Texas … currently majoring in elementary education.
