At Utah Tech 2024 (SOPHOMORE): competed in all six meets ... was the Trailblazers' second-fastest finisher at the NCAA West Regional Championship clocking a time of 22:26.6 in the 6K ... also had a strong showing at the WAC Championships being the second-fastest finisher posting a time of 22:13.55 ... ran a season-best 6K time at the UCR Invite clocking a time of 21:56.1 ... finished 94th overall in the 6K at the Santa Clara Bronco Invite (22:27.1) ... opened the season at the UVU Invite notching a time of 18:12.8 in the 5K .. recorded a time of 15:02.33 in the 4K at the SUU Invite finishing 23rd overall ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.
At Utah Tech 2023 (FRESHMAN): Competed in five meets ... posted the ninth-fastest time in program history in the 4K at the Southern Utah Color Country Invitational finishing 12th with a time of 15:13.15 ... also posted the 10th-fastest time in program history in the 5K at the season-opening Utah Valley Invitational coming in 39th with a time of 18:48.4 ... placed 55th at the WAC Championship with a 6K time of 23:23.7 ... was the Trailblazers' second-fastest finisher at the UCR Highlander Invitational running the 6K in a time of 21:47.0 placing 51st ... rounded out regular season action at the UCR Invitational with a 6K time of 22:13.1 to finish 85th.
At Cheyenne Central High School: Helped lead the Indians to back-to-back Wyoming state championships in 2021 and 2022 … earned first team all-state cross country honors with a fourth-place individual finish in 2022 … was also part of three-straight state outdoor, and two-straight indoor, track team championships … won the state indoor 3,200-meters, and was a runner-up finisher in both the outdoor 3,200-meters and indoor 1,600-m … earned an Honor Cord and was part of the Rotaract Service Club.
Personal: Was born in Michigan … parents are Caleb and Suzette Perriton … also recruited by Wyoming, Weber State, Southern Utah and Colorado Mesa … plans to major in computer science.
