Biography
At Utah Tech 2023-24 (Junior): Started all 31 games ... ranked second on the team with 936 minutes played, averaging 30.2 minutes per contest ... also finished second on the team in scoring averaging 11.5 points per game while totaling 356 total points on the season ... led the team in rebounds grabbing 6.8 per game and a total of 210 ... dished out the third-most assists on the team with 62 with a season-best six in a win at home over SFA (Jan. 11) ... tallied 48 blocks with a season-high five at Utah Valley (Jan. 20) ... notched six double-doubles, including three in WAC contests with an 18-point, 10-rebound performance against WAC champion Grand Canyon (Feb. 15) ... scored a season-best 26 points along with grabbing nine rebounds in a two-point overtime win at Jacksonville State (Nov. 11) ... posted 18 games in double figures, including five of the final seven contests ... shot 56.4 percent from the field connecting on 133 field goals ... added 15 steals.
At Utah Tech 2022-23 (Sophomore): Started each of his 32 appearances, playing 25.1 minutes per game… averaged 9.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists, shooting 56.7% from the field… four double-doubles… scored a career-high 26 points against Washington on Nov. 14, shooting 11-17 from the field and 1-2 from deep… paired 17 points with 14 rebounds against Cal Baptist on Jan. 5… played all 40 minutes against UT Arlington on Feb. 25, scoring 10 points and grabbing 14 rebounds… 13 games with double-figure scoring and eight games of two or more blocks.
At Idaho 2020-21 & 2021-22 (Freshman and COVID-Freshman): Played two seasons in the Vandal program … started in 27 of 28 games played at Idaho during his COVID-freshman year and averaged 8.5 points on 57.3 percent shooting, along with 6.4 rebounds per game … scored in double figures in 11 of those outings, highlighted by a career-high 18 points in a home win over Eastern Washington … pulled down 10 or more rebounds five times last season, including a career-best 12 boards vs. Sacramento State, and he posted his first collegiate double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds vs. Northern Colorado (1/20/22) … played in 22 games with three starts as a true freshman in the 2020-21 campaign and averaged 4.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
High School: Won three varsity letters for the Titans … earned first team all-Greater Spokane League honors after averaging 16.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks as a senior in 2017-18 … served as team captain during both his junior and senior seasons, and averaged nearly a double-double throughout his high school career.
Personal: Born in Provo, Utah … parents are Kirt and Emily Christensen … wife’s name is Emilie … also recruited by Idaho, Portland State, Hawai’i, Eastern Washington and Houston Christian … earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance at Idaho and is currently enrolled in UT’s Accounting Master’s program.
