JJ Long currently serves as the Dixie State women's basketball Director of Basketball Operations and Video Coordinator. 

Long, who has spent the last five seasons with the Trailblazers, has served in a variety of roles with the program previous to his current role, including student assistant and assistant coach. 

He attended and played basketball at Centennial High School in Las Vegas. After graduation, Long earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at Dixie State in 2018. JJ and his fiancé, Shaylee, recently welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl.
