Biography

2011: After being named to the Daktronics West Region All-Star 1st team for the Redstorm basketball program, Johnna joined the softball team after missing the first month of the season and finished with a .375 Batting Average, good for second highest on the team...Started 29 of the 32 games played...transitioned from her natural SS position to the outfield for her Sophomore season...finished with a .434 OBP%, good for 4th best on the team...finished with a flawless 1.000 fielding % while playing in the outfield...had a game high four hits vs. Grand Canyon University on 4/15/11. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      
2010: Named Second Team All-PacWest Conference in her Fr. season with the softball team after being named PacWest Freshman player of the year and Second Team All-Pac West as a member of the women's basketball team...finished with a .426 BA for the 2nd highest on the team...had a .704 slg% to lead the team...started 33 of 38 games played...43 RBI's tied for 4th best on the team...Had 2 HR's vs. Southern Utah University and finished 4 for 4 at the plate on 3/31/10...Six RBI's in both games against Dominican University on 4/12/10.


HIGH SCHOOL: Won 2 State Championships – one in softball and another in basketball… 2009 Nevada Basketball Player of the Year… 1st Team All-State… 4.0 GPA and All-State Academic… McDonald’s All-America and Player of the Year nominee

Personal: Chose Dixie State because it allowed her to play basketball and softball...Would most like to meet Jimmer Fredette and Britney Spears...Biggest influence is her father....Most memorable sport moments were winning some intense state games her senior year in both basketball and softball.
