Utah Tech University Athletics

At Snow College (2017-18): Played in all 33 matches and finished second on the team with 240 kills on her way to second team all-Region 18 recognition … was also fourth in total blocks (52 – 11 solo) and collected 123 digs … helped lead the Badgers to their first NJCAA national tournament appearance in 38 years and earned Region 18 all-tournament team honors … 2017: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

At Colorado Northwestern CC (2016): Appeared in all 30 matches and led the Spartans with 275 kills en route to second team all-Region 18 honors … finished with 148 digs and 40 total blocks (7 solo).

At Timpview High School: Helped lead the Thunderbirds to the 2014 Utah 4A state title and the runner-up finish in 2015 … earned first team all-state and all-region recognition … collected AVCA Senior All-Star and THS Outstanding Female Athlete awards … also played two seasons at Highland (UT) HS before transferring to THS. 

Personal: Born in Provo, Utah ... parents are Fletcher and Meisi Collins … father Fletcher played college football at Mississippi Valley State … also recruited by Montana State, Chicago State, Seattle, Sioux Falls, MSU Denver, Colorado Mesa and Adams State ... played club volleyball for High Country VC … favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers … favorite athlete is LeBron James … currently majoring in exercise science.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie because I really felt a special connection with the coaching staff. I know they could help me reach my full potential. They know exactly what it is going to take to be successful on the floor and most importantly, in the classroom. The school has a great sports and exercise science program. Also the campus is in a very beautiful area, and it is close to home. After pondering and praying about this decision, I knew Dixie was the right fit for me.”
