Biography

Enters 2018 season t-fourth in school history in career assists (8). 
 
At Dixie State 2017: Started in all 16 games he played in 2017 and finished with two goals and three assists ... helped anchor a stout defensive unit that posted a 1.38 GAA and five ShO victories, including four-straight shutout wins to help propel DSU to a 7-0-0 start ... the defensive unit combined to limit opponents to 5.1 SOG per match and 12.8 shots per match overall ... collected goals in wins over Dominican (10/10) and Azusa Pacific (11/4), and dished out two assists vs. Point Loma (10/21).

At Dixie State 2016: Earned third team all-PacWest honors after he tallied two goals and dished out five assists in 19 starts last season ... first collegiate goal came on a game-winner vs. Dominican (10/29), and he tacked on an insurance goal in DSUs PacWest-clinching win vs. Concordia-Irvine (11/3) ... played a key role on the defensive side as he helped lead DSU to eight shutout wins overall, including seven PacWest shutout results.

At Dixie State 2015: Played in 14 games with 12 starts ... was credited with 15 shot attempts, three on goal.

At Shadow Ridge High School: Earned three varsity letters in soccer and helped lead the Mustangs to a 2014 division title ... was a three-time all-league, all-conference, and all-region honoree ... finished prep career with 24 goals and 47 assists ... graduated a year early in June 2015.

Personal: Born in Las Vegas, Nevada ... parents are Nick Damato and Capri Winter ... also recruited by Grand Canyon, Cal State Northridge, Kentucky Christian, Adams State and Dominican University ... favorite team is Arsenal FC … favorite athlete is Conor McGregor … currently majoring in communication.

Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because of (former DSU Head Coach) Josh Pittman. It was also close to home and I was ready to except the challenge and help turn the program around.”
