Joe Hickman is in his second season on the DSU men's soccer coaching staff. A native of Ogden, Utah, he graduated from Bonneville High School, where he was a three-year starter and helped lead the Lakers to a Utah 4A runner-up finish and was named region mvp. He also spent time playing at Colorado Mesa University and Weber State University.

He played six years in the Professional Development League (PDL) with the Ogden Outlaws. He started coaching youth soccer in 2012, and joined the Dixie State Men's soccer program in 2015.
