At Utah Tech 2023: Appeared in 18 games with nine starts and finished with a 2-8 record and two saves … struck out a career-high six in his first start of the season at Oklahoma State (3/12) … earned his first collegiate decision after tossing 2.1 innings of three-hit relief with four strikeouts vs. Wichita State (2/22) … recorded at least one strikeout in 17 of his 18 appearances and three of more punch outs in nine of those outings … earned academic all-WAC honors.  
 
At Utah Tech 2022: Made nine appearances as a true freshman with one start and finished with a 5.19 ERA and nine strikeouts in 8.2 IP … made his first collegiate start at BYU (5/10), against which he struck out two in 1.2 shutout innings … fanned a season-high four and surrendered one hit in 2.2 innings of relief at UC Santa Barbara (5/13) … recorded at least one strikeout in five of his nine appearances overall … earned academic all-WAC honors.
 
At Snow Canyon High School: Earned three varsity letters in baseball … helped lead the Warriors to the 2021 Utah 4A state championship as the staff ace, going 8-2 with a 3.24 ERA … struck out 95 and gave up only 39 hits in 58.1 innings pitched … collected first team all-region and second team all-state honors … was listed on the honor roll all four years of high school and graduated with a 3.9 GPA.

Personal: Born in St. George, Utah … parents are Troy and Toni Herman … also recruited by BYU, Loyola Marymount, Pacific and Hawai’i Pacific … favorite teams are the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Chargers ... favorite athlete is Joe Burrow ... currently majoring in business management.
