Biography
At Dixie State 2017-18 (Freshman): Played in all 10 team events as a true freshman … finished seventh on the team in stroke average at 75.07 in 29 competitive rounds with five rounds of par of better … posted four top-20 finishes, including a solo 17th at the 2018 Pacific West Conference Championships … recorded a career-best t-12th showing at the Dixie State Island Inv’l … carded two rounds in the 60s, highlighted by a 4-under 68 in the opening round of the WNMU Mustang Inv’l.
At Davis High School: Was a four-year golf letter winner and a three-time all-region selection … helped lead the Darts to four top-four Utah 5A state finishes, including a runner-up team showing in 2014 and a third-place finish in 2016 … posted a t-11th place state 5A individual result in 2015 and a t-14th showing in 2016 … collected a pair of t-first place Utah Junior Golf Association finishes at the Fairways Magazine Preview and at the UJGA Challenge Cup in 2016.
Personal: Born in Ogden, Utah … parents are Rob and Becky Anderson … also recruited by Weber State, Utah Valley, Southern Utah and Westminster College … favorite team is the Utah Jazz … favorite athlete is Donovan Mitchell ... currently majoring in finance.
