Spencer Wallace

Spencer Wallace is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Trailblazer Men's Golf program.

Wallace played five seasons at Utah Tech from 2017-22, during which he teed it up in 41 events and fired par-or-better rounds in 43 of his 120 career loops. He is currently tied for fourth all-time in program history in career top-10s (10) and is eighth in career stroke average (74.06), including a 72.57 scoring average in 21 rounds during the 2019-20 season, which is third-lowest on Utah Tech’s single season scoring list.

Wallace was a two-time all-conference performer during his five season. He was named 2017-18 Pacific West Conference Freshman of the Year, and earned third team all-PacWest honors, as he helped lead the Trailblazers to a 2018 conference title.

He also earned second team all-RMAC recognition one year later in 2018-19, in a season that saw Utah Tech play to a runner-up finish at the RMAC Championship. The Trailblazers chased that performance with their first NCAA Division II Regional Championship title, followed by a ninth-place team finish at the 2019 NCAA Division II National Championships.

A native of Layton, Utah, Wallace graduated from Utah Tech in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication.
