At Star Valley High School: Won the Wyoming State 3A individual title as a senior in 2014 and finished fifth-overall as a junior in 2013 … was a four-year letter winner for the Braves and, while as a senior, shot a course-record 58 (-12) at the Johnny Miller-designed Star Valley View Golf Course in Afton … was a three-time all-conference and two-time all-state selection … was Salutatorian in his graduating class of 2014.
Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah … parents are Scott and Janna Walker … father Scott was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1983 June Amateur Draft and played two seasons in the Pirates’ minor league system … also recruited by Arizona State, Washington, Wyoming, CSU-Pueblo and Cal State Bakersfield … plans to major in nursing.
