Biography
At Dixie State 2020-21 (COVID-Freshman): Played in six team events and was fourth among team regulars with a 74.35 stroke average in 17 rounds with five par-or-better rounds … carded rounds in the 70s in 15-of-16 rounds played … fired a collegiate career-low 3-under 69 in the opening round at the Sacramento State Inv’l (3/1) … recorded a career-best t-18th place finish at the Oregon Duck Inv’l … earned Academic all-WAC honors.
At Dixie State 2019-20 (Freshman): Played in two of seven team events in a season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic … finished seventh on the team in stroke average at 78.33 in six competitive rounds … carded a final round even par 72 to place t-42nd overall at the NDNU Argonaut Inv’l.
At Davis High School: Earned three varsity letters in golf and helped lead the Darts to consecutive region championships ... was an all-region and second team all-state performer ... posted a 72.00 scoring average as a senior ... was listed on the high honor roll.
Personal: Born in Mesa, Arizona … parents are Tim and Janice Pehrson ... also recruited by Westminster College and North Idaho College ... favorite team is the Utah Jazz … favorite athlete is Tiger Woods … currently majoring in finance.
