Biography
At Dixie State 2020-21 (COVID-Freshman): Was the only Trailblazer to play in all seven spring events and was t-first among team regulars with a 74.00 stroke average in 21 competitive rounds … recorded DSU’s lone individual top-10 showing, and the third of his career, with a t-seventh finish at the UC Santa Barbara Collegiate, at which he fired 73-70-71 (214) to finish at 2-under for the event … fired a season-best 4-under 68 in the final round of the SUU Pat Hicks Inv’l (2/8) to finish t-17th, one of his three top-25 showings in the spring … placed t-31st at the 2021 WAC Championships … 19 of his 21 rounds on the season were in the 70s … finished second on the team with six rounds of par or better.
At Dixie State 2019-20 (Freshman): Played in six of seven team events in a season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic … finished third on the team in stroke average at 74.33 in 18 competitive rounds with five rounds of par of better … posted two top-10 individual showings, including a t-sixth place finish in his first collegiate tourney at the Saint Martin’s Inv’l … fired a 2-under 70 in his first college loop at SMU, then after a second round even par 72, carded a career-low final round 6-under 66 … also tied for fifth overall at the WNMU/RJGA Fall Region Preview, highlighted by an opening 5-under 67.
International Play: Recorded a 73.50 scoring average this past year and is the 26th-ranked player in England’s national U-18 rankings (272nd in the European U-18 rankings ... posted victories in the 2017 U-16 County Boys Championship (76-72) and the 2018 Dorset Triangular Stroke Play Championship (71-72), along with a runner-up showing at the 2018 U-18 County Boys Championship (71-67) ... was also selected for the U-16 England Regional Team and Hampshire County Team.
Personal: Born in Portsmouth, England … parents are Ash and Mahim Uddin … also recruited by Ohio University, Georgia Southeastern, Tusculum, Ottawa (AZ), Indian Hills CC and Eastern Arizona CC … favorite team is Portsmouth FC … favorite athlete is Tiger Woods … currently majoring in communication.
