Biography

At Utah Tech 2022 (SENIOR): Competed in all five meets including the WAC Championships ... was Utah Tech's top individual finisher in all five meets ... set a program record on the 4.5 mile course (24:34.3) at NAU where the trailblazers have raced dating back to 2014 ... posted the third fasted 8K (24:33.2) in program history at the WAC Championships ... posted the third fastest 6K time (19:08.13) at the SUU Color Country Invite where he ran to a podium finish in third place

At Utah Tech 2021 (JUNIOR): Competed in all five meets including the WAC Championships ... was part of the team that won the SUU Color Country Invitational ... was part of the team that posted a program record 25:04 (8K) top five average at the WAC Championships ... posted the seventh-fastest 8K time (25:26.1) in program history at the WAC Championships ... also ran program top ten all time marks in the 5K (3rd) 16:13.0 and 6K (8th) 19:47.8

At Utah Tech Spring 2021 (COVID JUNIOR): Competed in all three meets including the WAC Championships ... posted a season best 25:53.9 (8K) at the Battle Born Collegiate Challenge 

At Southern Idaho: Competed in cross country and track and field for two seasons for the Golden Eagles … finished in 48th place at the NJCAA National Championships in cross country … posted an 11th-place national finish in the indoor track 5K … helped the CSI track teams to fifth and sixth place national finishes … two-time Academic All-American in both sports.
 
At Pleasant Grove High School: Competed in cross country and track … earned six varsity letters between the sports … former 6A State record holder in the 800m … graduated in June 2018.
 
Personal: Born in Lindon, Utah … parents are Brian Sr. and Patricia Schulz … also recruited by Idaho State, Lewis and Clark, Utah Valley, Adams State, and the College of Idaho … currently majoring in marketing.
 
Why I Chose Utah Tech: “I chose Utah Tech because I wanted to continue my academic and athletic career somewhere I felt like I fit in and could contribute to the team.”
