At Utah Tech 2021 (SOPHOMORE): Competed in all five meets including the WAC Championships ... was part of the team that won the SUU Color Country Invitational ... was part of the team that posted a program record 25:04 (8K) top five average at the WAC Championships ... posted the fifth-fastest 8K time (25:21.8) in program history at the WAC Championships ... also ran program top ten all time marks in the 5K (6th) 16:22.7 and 6K (7th) 19:43.7
At Utah Tech Spring 2021 (COVID SOPHOMORE): Competed in all three meets including the WAC Championships
At Utah Tech 2019 (FRESHMAN): Competed in all five Competed in all five meets including the RMAC Championships and the NCAA DII South Central Region Championships… recorded a 17th-place finish (19:55.0) at the SUU Color Country Invitational … posted the fifth-fastest 8K time (25:40.1) in program history at the RMAC Championships.
At Arbor View High School: Earned three varsity cross country letters … crossed the line in first place at regionals as a senior in 2018 … two-time state medalist … helped the team to a second-place state finish as a junior in 2017 … two-time All-State selection … graduated in May 2019.
Personal: Born in Whittier, California … parents are Rudy and Geri Ayala … also recruited by the College of Idaho … currently majoring in exercise science.
