At Dixie State 2016-17 (Junior): Earned First Team all-PacWest and Second Team all-NABC West Region honors last season ... started in all 28 games and finished the year as DSU’s leading scorer (14.4 ppg; 16th PWC) and rebounder (7.0 rpg; T7th PWC) ... scored in double figures in a team high 21 of 28 games and led the Trailblazers in scoring 12 times ... poured in a season-high 26 points at NDNU (1/7) and tallied 25 points at APU (12/10) ... finished the season scoring in double figures in 13 of his final 15 games overall ... also led DSU in assists (135, 4.8 apg; 2nd PWC) and steals (41) and was second in blocks (26) ... ended the regular season ranked 11th-nationally in free throw attempts (226) ... led DSU in rebounding 11 times and posted a team-high four double-doubles ... was named PacWest Player of the Week (11/21) and Defender of the Week (2/20) … earned academic all-PacWest honors.
At Dixie State 2015-16 (Sophomore): Earned Second Team all-PacWest honors last season after he led DSU in scoring at 16.1 ppg ... started in all 27 games and averaged 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals a game ... shot 47.7 percent (143-of-300) from the floor and 67.0 percent (136-of-203) from the foul line ... scored in double figures in a team-high 24 of 27 games with six 20-plus point outings and led the DSU in scoring 11 times ... tallied a career-high 28 points at MSU Billings (11/28) and was named PacWest co-Player of the Week following that performance ... scored 20 or more points in four PacWest games, including a 27-point night at DSU’s OT win at Concordia-Irvine (1/9), and posted his first double-double of the year with 16 points and 12 rebounds in a win vs. Holy Names (2/15) ... led the team in assists 14 times and in steals 10 times ... earned academic all-PacWest honors.
At Dixie State 2014-15 (Freshman): Played in all 28 games with six starts … averaged 5.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists a game ... shot 45.3 percent (43-of-95) from the floor and 71.4 percent (60-of-84) from the charity stripe ... became the first true freshman to start a season-opening game in DSU’s NCAA Division II era (vs. Montana State Billings 11/18) … scored a season-high 16 points in a win at Holy Names (2/2) … recorded his first collegiate double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds at BYU-Hawai’i (1/8) … was a three-time PacWest Freshman of the Week honoree.
At Alta High School: Lettered all four years in basketball and was a two-time all-region and Utah 5A second team selection … led the Hawks to a region title and was named region MVP and All-Star as a senior … also lettered in football and was an all-region running back for the Hawks.
Personal: Born in Dallas, Texas … parents are Curtis and Nicole Hill … also recruited by Montana State, Westminster College, Salt Lake CC, Snow College and Saddleback CC … was high school teammate of fellow DSU guard Dub Price ... favorite team is the Miami Heat and favorite athlete is Dwyane Wade … currently majoring in business administration.
