At Desert Hills High School: Was a first team all-state and all-region selection during his senior season in a Thunder uniform … averaged 16.7 points and nearly four rebounds a game as a senior … scored 20 or more points on eight occasions … also lettered in track and field, where he competed in the high jump and long jump.
Personal: Born in Columbia, Missouri … parents are Steve and Amy Chase … also recruited by Colgate, Westminster College and Snow College ... favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant … currently majoring general studies.
Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because the opportunity to play Division I basketball in my hometown did it for me. I’ve lived here almost my whole life and love the people in this city. The amount of support I’ve received from the people of St. George throughout my high school years up until now is incredible. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
