At Dixie State 2018-19 (Freshman): Appeared in 13 games off the bench and averaged 3.5 points on 55.2 percent shooting (16-of-29), along with 1.5 rebounds and 5.3 minutes a game … tallied career highs of 12 points and five rebounds in a home win over Colorado Christian (2/23) … shot 66.7 percent (10-of-15) from the foul line and 40.0 percent (4-of-10) from the perimeter.
 
At Dixie State 2017-18: Sat out the entire season as a redshirt.
 
At Bingham High School: Played for current DSU assistant coach Jake Schroeder and was a two-year basketball varsity letter winner for the Miners from 2013-15 … averaged 8.8 points and 4.6 rebounds a game as a senior to help lead BHS to the 2015 Utah 5A quarterfinal round.

Personal: Born in Salt Lake City, Utah … parents are Paul and Jane Newbold … father Paul played basketball collegiately at College of Eastern Utah (now USU-Eastern) ... favorite teams are the Utah Jazz and the Minnesota Vikings … favorite athlete is Donovan Mitchell ... currently majoring in business administration.
