At Dixie State 2019-20 (Junior): Was an all-RMAC honorable mention pick ... started in 28 of 30 games played and finished the year ranked 19th-nationally in assist-turnover ratio with an RMAC leading 2.9 ratio ... scored in double figures in 14 of those 30 outings, highlighted by a career-high 27-point night in a win vs. Alaska Fairbanks (11/23), which earned him RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors ... poured 15 or more points on six occasions, including an RMAC season-high 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting vs. Western Colorado (1/25), and dished out five or more assists six times and had registered eight assists twice, both in road wins at New Mexico Highlands (12/13) and at Fort Lewis (1/31) ... finished the season t-12th in the RMAC in assists (3.5 apg) and was a 2019-20 First Team Academic all-RMAC honoree.
At Dixie State 2018-19 (Sophomore): Played in all 27 games with two starts and averaged 2.4 points on 33.8 percent shooting (26-of-77), 1.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists a game … poured in a career-high 10 points with four boards and five assists at Colorado School of Mines (1/5) … dished out a career-best six assists vs. New Mexico Highlands in the RMAC quarterfinal (3/5) … finished with 19 steals, including a career-high three steals on three occasions (vs. MSUD, at WCU, at ASU).
At Skagit Valley College 2017-18 (Freshman): Was a 2018 second team all-NWAC pick after he averaged 14.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists a game for the Fighting Cardinal.
At Bingham High School: Played for current DSU assistant coach Jake Schroeder and earned three varsity letters in basketball … helped lead the Miners to consecutive Utah 5A state championships in 2016 and 2017 … was named 2017 Deseret News 5A MVP after he averaged 12.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists a game.
Personal: Born in Riverton, Utah … parents are Kendall and Jill Youngblood ... father Kendall played college basketball at Utah State and played professionally overseas ... older brother Daylor was a three-year standout on the DSU men’s basketball team and older sister Danika played volleyball collegiately at Western Nebraska and Cal State Bakersfield … grandfather Nate Williams played collegiately at Utah State and played eight-plus seasons in the NBA for the Cincinnati Royals, Kansas City Kings, New Orleans Jazz and Golden State Warriors ... aunt Natalie Williams was member of the 2002 Olympic Gold Medal-winning United States Women’s Basketball Team and played in the WNBA ... also recruited by Northwest Nazarene and Puget Sound … favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys … currently majoring in communication.
